Statement
Accessibility
This site aims to be usable by everyone, whatever tools they use. Below is what has been done so far and the gaps we know about.
Last updated: 23 October 2026
Target standard
- The site was built with the WCAG 2.1 AA criteria in mind. It has not been through an independent accessibility audit, which is why it does not claim to be "fully compliant".
What has been done
- A "Skip to content" link appears at the start of each page, so keyboard users do not have to pass through the menu every time.
- Keyboard focus is shown with a visible outline on every interactive element and is never removed for the sake of appearance.
- Page structure uses proper heading levels; images that carry no meaning are marked with empty alternative text.
- For visitors whose operating system requests reduced motion, transitions and animations are disabled.
- The accessibility button at the bottom left offers text size, higher contrast, reduced motion, link highlighting and readable spacing. The choice is stored on this device and applied before the page is painted.
- Cover images for embedded videos are served from our own server, and the play controls work with the keyboard.
Known gaps
- Embedded YouTube content opens inside third-party frames; we have no control over the accessibility of that content itself.
- Because the site has not been independently audited, there may be issues that have not yet been noticed.
Reporting a problem
- If you find part of the site you cannot reach, please write to the email address on the Contact page. Reported problems are reviewed and addressed where possible.
